Practice Proper Punctuation
Punctuation encompasses a set of symbols that are used in the English language to help readers understand the meaning of the sentences they’re reading. Punctuation clarifies pause points, end of sentences, quotes, questions, and also when words have been intentionally left out. Imagine sentences with no punctuation. Reading a narrative, article, or even a short paragraph would be confusing and chaotic without periods, commas, and question marks, etc. The clear intent of the author might be lost without those little symbols.
New writers should brush up on punctuation and understand when and where to use which symbols.
